Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the QR Master application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

QR Master mainly allows you to:

• Create QR codes in different formats (for example: text, links, location, etc.).
• Scan QR codes using your device’s camera.
• Store a local history of created and scanned codes for later reference.

The exact functionality may be extended or modified in future versions of the App.

3. Local Storage and Privacy

To prioritize your privacy and give you better control over your data, all relevant information (such as the history of created or scanned codes) is stored locally on your device. We do not use this information to build profiles in the cloud or automatically transmit it to external servers controlled by us.

However, you are responsible for the physical security of your device and any backups you create (for example, system-level cloud backups).

QR Master does not directly access sensitive personal data such as contacts, photos, or files unless you explicitly authorize it for a specific feature (e.g., access to the camera).

4. Device Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

• Camera: required to scan QR codes.
• Storage / local data: to save the history of created or scanned codes.
• Location (optional): only when you want to create or use QR codes related to location. Location data is also handled locally and is not sent to our servers.

By using the App, you agree to grant these permissions when necessary. You can revoke them at any time from your device settings, although this may limit some features.

5. Advertising and Revenue

To maintain and continue developing QR Master, the App displays third-party advertisements (for example, through Google AdMob or other ad providers).

These third-party services may use device identifiers or cookies to deliver relevant ads. Such processing is governed by each provider’s own privacy policy, which is independent of QR Master.

When available, the App may offer paid options or subscriptions to remove or reduce advertising. The conditions of any purchase or subscription will be clearly displayed in the app store or within the App.

6. Permitted Use and User Responsibilities

You agree to use QR Master responsibly and in accordance with applicable law. In particular, you must not:

• Create, scan, or share QR codes used for illegal or fraudulent activities.
• Use the App to distribute malware, phishing content, abusive material, or content that infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to decompile, modify, or reverse engineer the App.

You are solely responsible for the content you encode or access through the App. QR Master does not verify or guarantee the safety of links or data contained in QR codes.

7. History and Data Deletion

QR Master provides features to manage your local history (for example, deleting individual entries or removing all information stored in the App).

When you use these features, the data is deleted from the App’s local storage on your device. This action may be irreversible, and you are responsible for ensuring that you really want to delete the data before confirming.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its visual design, logos, icons, source code, and related elements are the property of the QR Master developer or are used under license. Reproduction, copying, or distribution without prior written authorization is prohibited.

The content you generate using the App (for example, text or links encoded in QR codes) remains your responsibility and property, unless it infringes the rights of third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

QR Master is provided “as is”, without any kind of warranty, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from vulnerabilities.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the QR Master developer will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including loss of data, device failures, or damages caused by opening external links contained in QR codes.

10. Changes and Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and the functionality of the App at any time. When significant changes are made, we will try to notify you through the App itself or via the app store where QR Master is distributed.

Your continued use of QR Master after such changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination of Use

You may stop using QR Master at any time by uninstalling the App. Likewise, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for users who seriously violate these Terms or misuse the service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country or region where the developer of the App is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence.
